 Wide Canvas Binding
Top stitched and shows 1 ¼" width on face of rugs with top stitched, mitered corners.Corner shown is Honey Brasilia with Honey Wide Canvas binding.
 Extra-Wide Canvas
Top stitched and shows 2 1/8" width on face of rugs with top stitched, mitered corners. Corner shown is Honey Extra Wide Canvas Top-Stitched on Bambu Boucle Sisal. Blind stitching is available on the Extra Wide Canvas for an additional charge.
 Designer Series Cotton
Our Designer Series Cotton bindings come in 52 colors to match any color scheme. It is offered in 2 widths: Wide and Extra Wide. Wide is Top-stitched and Extra Wide can be Top-stitched or Blind-stitched. Corners are mitered. Wide Top -stitched shows 1 1/4" on face. Extra Wide Top-stitched shows 2 1/4" on face; Blind-stitched shows 3" on face. Corner shown is Sunshade with Dark Taupe Extra Wide Cotton, blind stitched.

Blind Stitching
Blind Stitching refers to the appearance and sewing of the binding. Blind Stitching means that the stitching (thread) on the top of the binding is hidden. The stitching on both the sides and the mitered corners is hidden. All corners are mitered (finished at an angle-see photo) unless you request a lapped corner. Blind stitching is standard on Extra Wide Canvas, Designers Series Cotton, Faux Leather, Leather and Tapestry bindings. Corner shown is Coco Faux Leather on Sunlight Sun Collection Sisal. |

Top Stitching
Top Stitching refers to the appearance and sewing of the binding. Top Stitching means that the stitching (thread) is on the top of the binding. We match the color of the thread to the binding, so it blends with the binding. The mitered corners of the binding on your area rug are mitered which means they are finished at an angle and top stitched (see photo).
