Step 1. Start laying Goldeck tiles from one corner of the area to be covered. Hold the tile at a 45 degree angle. Fit the male connector over the female connector so that they click together.
Step 2. Continue adding tiles in this manner until the area is covered and tiles are securely locked in place to each adjacent tile.
Step 3. To fit around posts, pipes or corners; cut out the required shape from the tile using a jigsaw or handsaw and lock the tile into place. Replace any screws so that all slats are securely fastened to the base.
Step 4. Each tile has two male connectors underneath on the base that can be removed by cutting with a knife. These connectors can be used to join the tiles together in the event that two female sides happen to coincide thus taking advantage of tile off-cuts in various layouts.
Maintenance Periodically, apply a good quality decking oil to keep the dark wood beauty of the tiles.
